Private Label Women's Loafer Design

Custom Loafers Design for Private Label Women's Footwear Brands

Develop custom women's loafers for private-label collections — penny and tassel loafers, horsebit and bit styles, chunky lug-sole loafers and backless loafers — built around your brand direction, materials and target market.

What We Do

Custom loafers, developed around your brand.

Lajwanti Designers develops custom women's loafers for private-label footwear collections — penny and tassel loafers, horsebit and bit styles, chunky lug-sole loafers and backless loafers — built around your brand's customer, market and price point. Every style starts from your references or brief, moves through the design stage as a written specification, then into a paid sample for review and approval before production planning.

We work with fashion labels, boutiques, retailers and private-label buyers who need a coordinated loafer range that reads as one line — the same last, sole story and material palette carried across styles — not one-off pairs.

Style Variations

Loafer shapes we develop.

Every loafer can be developed as a single style or as part of a coordinated collection.

Penny & Tassel

The classic slip-on. Penny apron front or tassel detail, low stacked heel and a clean vamp — the everyday core of a loafer range.

Horsebit & Bit

Metal hardware across the vamp for a dressier loafer. Popular in fashion, premium retail and smart-casual lines.

Chunky Lug-Sole

Platform and lug-sole loafers for trend-led collections. Heavier sole unit, statement profile, stronger retail presence.

Backless & Mule

Collapsed backs and open-heel loafers for spring/summer and transitional ranges. Easy slip-on styling with the same upper story.

Product Development

Every detail, from shape to branding.

The technical framework behind each loafer — from last and moc construction to materials, sole unit and branding. We support private-label development across all categories.

Buyer FAQ

What brands ask before starting a loafer project.

Yes. Loafers are developed with full customisation on last shape, moc construction, hardware, sole unit, materials, colourways and branding for private-label brands. You can supply your own tech pack or work from our reference silhouettes.
For women's shoes, the usual first order is 120 pairs total, structured as 12 pairs per design, per colour. This lets you spread your order across several loafer styles and colourways without overcommitting on a first run.
Yes, and it is the usual approach for a loafer range. Penny, tassel and horsebit styles can share a last, sole unit and material story, so the collection reads as one line while offering distinct looks at retail.
Yes. Leather, TPR, rubber, PU and EVA sole units can be specified per style, including lug and chunky platform options. Sole type affects weight, wear and price point, so it is agreed at design stage and confirmed in the sample.
Yes. Backless and collapsed-heel loafers can be built on the same upper as a closed-back style, which keeps the range coherent across spring/summer and transitional collections.
Materials are approved by specification, appearance, construction compatibility, availability and target cost. You receive material direction for sign-off before sampling begins, and the approved material is locked into the production specification.
There are four documented gates: brief review, physical sample approval, production sign-off, and pre-shipment QC. Nothing moves to the next stage without your explicit approval.
Share the design reference or tech pack, expected quantity, target market, material and colour preferences, size range, branding and packaging requirements, destination country and target delivery date.
Typical sample development takes 10–14 days, with bulk production around 4–6 weeks after sample approval. Exact timelines are confirmed per project based on quantity, materials and finishing.
Yes, worldwide shipping support is available. International sampling, production and shipping specifics — including Incoterms — are confirmed during quotation.
Yes. A women's loafer can be developed to sit alongside an existing men's collection — sharing the apron seam, hardware and material story while using a women's last, sizing and proportions.
