Private Label Footwear Branding & Packaging

Private Label Footwear Branding & Packaging

Lajwanti Designers develops branding and packaging that make a private-label footwear collection feel like your brand — logo placement, insoles, labels, boxes and presentation. The shoe leaves our hands looking like yours, not like ours.

Why It Matters

Branding is the last 5% that makes it yours.

You can have the perfect design and the perfect sample. If the shoe arrives with no brand on it and a plain box, it does not feel like your collection. Branding and packaging are what close that gap.

Brand recognition

A customer opens the box and immediately knows the brand. No guessing, no generic presentation.

Perceived value

Good branding and packaging raise what the shoe feels worth — before the customer even tries it on.

Retail-ready

Labels, size marking, care labelling and boxes made for how you actually sell — online, in-store or wholesale.

Consistency across the range

Every style shares the same logo treatment, packaging and presentation so the collection reads as one line.

Step One: Branding

Branding on the shoe

Logo placement, insoles, sock branding and hardware — the details on the shoe itself. We plan them so the shoe carries your brand cleanly, without looking cluttered.

  • Logo placement on insole, sock, lining or upper
  • Technique matched to the material — print, emboss, foil or embroidered
  • Branded hardware on buckles, rivets or tags where relevant

Step Two: Packaging

Packaging & presentation

Boxes, tissue, labels, carton marks and the details that make the collection feel finished. Custom packaging is available from a 500-box minimum.

  • Shoebox branding and presentation
  • Tissue, wrapping and inner presentation
  • Carton marking and quantity verification

Branding & Packaging Areas

What we develop with you.

These are the five areas where branding and packaging actually happen. Each can be developed separately or as one connected presentation system.

Insole branding

The most visible brand surface inside the shoe.

  • Printed logo on insole
  • Embossed or foil-stamped logo
  • Custom insole colour

Sock branding

The sock is visible the moment the shoe is opened.

  • Printed or woven sock logo
  • Sock colour matching to brand
  • Brand text, style name or size marking

Comfort & materials

Branding does not have to compromise comfort.

  • Cushioned insoles with branding
  • Material options that hold print well
  • Tested in sample stage before approval

Brand labels

The shoe's brand identifier.

  • Woven or printed brand labels
  • Leather or synthetic logo tags
  • Custom shape and finish

Size & origin labels

Required for most markets.

  • Size marking and half sizes
  • Country-of-origin labelling
  • Custom sizing to your market

Care & material labels

Market and category requirements.

  • Material content labels
  • Care instruction labels
  • Regulated-category labels for safety & work footwear

Shoebox design

The first physical impression.

  • Box size, shape and finish
  • Printed, embossed or foil branding
  • Rigid, folding or mailer-style boxes

Inner packaging

What the customer sees when they open the box.

  • Tissue paper or branded wrapping
  • Dust bags and shoe covers
  • Shoe inserts and shaping

Shipping & cartons

The packaging you don't normally see.

  • Carton marking and quantity verification
  • Custom outer carton design
  • Barcodes and shipping labels

Collection coherence

Every style presenting as one line.

  • Same logo treatment across styles
  • Consistent box and tissue across the range
  • One colour and material language

Retail-ready

Prepared for how you actually sell.

  • Barcodes and retail tags
  • Display-ready presentation
  • Wholesale and shipping-ready packing

Photography-ready

Presentation that supports your marketing.

  • Box design that photographs well
  • Consistent unboxing experience
  • Coordinated with your brand guide

Buyer FAQ

Questions brands ask about branding and packaging.

Logo placement on insoles, socks, lining, upper or sole — using foil, emboss, deboss, print, woven labels or embroidery depending on the material. Branded hardware (buckles, rivets, tags) is also available where the style calls for it. The options are confirmed in your quote.
Yes. Custom packaging is available from a minimum of 500 boxes. If you order more boxes than your first shipment needs, the extra boxes can either be stored in our warehouse for your future orders, or shipped to you with your order — whichever you are more comfortable with.
Yes. Send your brand guide, logo files and any existing packaging you use. We match the branding, colours and presentation to what you already have, so the collection feels consistent with the rest of your brand.
Yes. Size marking, country-of-origin labelling, care and material labels, and carton marking can be arranged to match the requirements of the market you are selling into, along with any brand-specific label or packaging details.
Yes. Most brands apply the same branding language across a whole collection — same logo treatment, same packaging, same presentation — so the range feels like one line. We plan this alongside collection development.
Tell us at the brief stage. We can propose a direction for logo placement, packaging and presentation that fits your brand and market — you do not need a finished brand guide to get started, but the more you can share, the sharper the proposal will be.
Yes — some branding options add cost (custom hardware, complex packaging, premium materials) and some are more economical (printed insole, simple woven label). We confirm the cost impact in writing before sampling, so there are no surprises.
Yes, though custom packaging involves print setup and tooling, so changes after the first production run usually mean new setup costs. We recommend confirming the packaging design carefully before the first order so it can be reused for future shipments.
