Lajwanti Designers guides every footwear project through the same clear stages, from your first brief to a packed shipment. You approve each stage before we start the next, so there are no surprises.
The Full Process
From first brief to shipment in seven stages.
This is the private label shoe development process we follow for every project, from sample to production footwear orders. It works the same for one style or a full collection.
Share your brief
Send your references, target market, size range and quantity. We review them, ask about anything missing and confirm the scope of your project.
Design direction
We develop shape, material and colour options and adjust them with your feedback until you are happy with the design.
Materials and colours
We choose materials, colours and trims with you, and check each one for look, fit with the design, availability and cost. You review swatches before any sample is made.
Sample and revisions
We make the approved design as a physical sample. You check fit, build and finish, and we revise it until you approve.
Quote and production sign-off
The approved sample and specification go into your private label quote. Production starts only after you sign off.
Quality checks
We carry out the agreed quality checks during production and before shipment, and compare the pairs with your approved sample.
Packing and dispatch
We pack your order, with branded packing where agreed, and coordinate the shipment documents for delivery to your market.

- Women's samples usually take 10–14 days
- Samples are paid
- Bulk production takes about 4–6 weeks after sample approval
- Women's minimum is usually 12 pairs per design, per colour
- Worldwide shipping support is available
