Private Label Women's Boot Design

Custom Boots Design for Private Label Women's Footwear Brands

Develop custom women's boots for private-label collections — ankle boots, chelsea boots, lace-up boots, mid-calf and knee-high boots — across flat, block-heel and heeled constructions, built around your brand direction and target market.

What We Do

Custom boots, developed around your brand.

Lajwanti Designers develops custom women's boots for private-label collections — ankle boots, chelsea boots, lace-up boots, mid-calf and knee-high boots — across flat, block-heel and heeled constructions, built around your brand's customer, market and price point. Every style starts from your references or brief, moves through the design stage as a written specification covering shaft height, last, heel, upper pattern, lining and sole, then into a paid sample for review and approval before production planning.

We work with fashion labels, autumn/winter retailers, boutiques and private-label buyers who need a coordinated boot range where the last and shaft story carries across styles. Boot silhouette and shaft height are developed here; where a boot uses a wedge sole, the wedge construction detail sits on the wedges page, and block-heel construction on the block heels page.

Style Variations

Boot shapes and shaft heights we develop.

Every boot can be developed as a single style or as a coordinated range sharing one last and shaft story.

Ankle Boots

Shaft heights of roughly 8–13cm. Chelsea, lace-up, zip and pull-on styles — the widest-selling boot shape in most women's ranges.

Mid-Calf Boots

Shaft heights of roughly 25–35cm. Slouch, sock and structured styles that sit under trousers and over skinny denim.

Knee-High Boots

Shaft heights of roughly 40–50cm. Fitted, stretch and riding-inspired styles — the highest shaft, the greatest fit challenge.

Heeled & Flat Boots

A construction choice that spans every shaft height. Flat, block, stacked and stiletto heel options within the same range.

Product Development

Every detail, from shaft to branding.

The technical framework behind each boot — from shaft height and last to lining, sole unit and branding. We support private-label development across all categories.

Buyer FAQ

What brands ask before starting a boot project.

Yes. Boots are developed with full customisation on shaft height, last, heel, closures, upper pattern, lining, sole unit, materials, colourways and branding for private-label brands. You can supply your own tech pack or work from our reference silhouettes.
For women's shoes, the usual first order is 120 pairs total, structured as 12 pairs per design, per colour. This lets you spread your order across several boot styles and shaft heights without overcommitting on a first run.
Ankle boots (roughly 8–13cm), mid-calf boots (25–35cm), knee-high boots (40–50cm) and over-the-knee styles. Shaft height is agreed at brief stage because it changes the upper pattern, lining consumption and calf fit requirements.
Yes, subject to shaft pattern development. Regular, wide and extra-wide calf options can be run from the same base last, with elasticated or stretch panels to add fit tolerance. Calf circumference is set as a target at brief stage and verified across the size run in the sample set.
Boot silhouette and shaft height are developed here. Where the boot uses a wedge sole, the wedge construction detail sits on the wedges page; block-heel construction sits on the block heels page. In practice we plan these as one project so the boot and its sole construction are specified together.
Yes. Stretch-knit and sock-fit uppers are developed for ankle, mid-calf and knee-high boots. Stretch percentage, panel placement and recovery are specified at design stage and checked after repeated wear on the sample.
Elasticated side gores, inside and back zips, lace-up with eyelets and hooks, buckles and pull-on entry. Closure choice affects the upper pattern, lining and fit range, so it is agreed at design stage and confirmed on the physical sample.
Materials are approved by specification, appearance, construction compatibility, availability and target cost. You receive material direction for sign-off before sampling begins, and the approved material is locked into the production specification.
Share the design reference or tech pack, target shaft height and heel type, calf fit requirements, expected quantity, target market, material and colour preferences, size range, branding and packaging requirements, destination country and target delivery date.
Typical sample development takes 10–14 days, with bulk production around 4–6 weeks after sample approval. Knee-high and over-the-knee styles add time for shaft and calf fit iterations, so autumn/winter ranges should be briefed early enough to absorb a second sample round.
There are four documented gates: brief review, physical sample approval, production sign-off, and pre-shipment QC. Nothing moves to the next stage without your explicit approval.
