Private Label Footwear Development for Fashion Brands

Lajwanti Designers works with fashion brands, designers and boutiques on private label footwear collections — developed around your customer, your price point and your brand direction. A B2B footwear development partner for labels that want a real collection, not a rebrand of someone else's.

Who This Is For

Which brands work with us.

The same development process is used across all these brand types. What changes is the brief, the range and the market.

Most of the brands we work with fall into one of these categories. If you are not sure which one you are, that is fine — send us your brief and we will tell you where your project fits.

What all our fashion brand clients have in common is that they want a footwear collection that genuinely belongs to their label — not a generic range with a logo swapped on.

Why Fashion Brands Work With Us

What makes this different from sourcing a catalogue.

Sourcing a shoe is easy. Developing a footwear collection that fits your brand takes a different process.

Designed for your range

The footwear is designed to sit alongside what you already sell — same price point, same customer, same brand language.

Brief-first, not catalogue-first

We do not start from a catalogue of pre-made shoes. We start from your brief, your references and your market.

Sample before bulk

You see and approve a physical sample with your branding on it before any production planning begins.

Realistic first orders

Women's footwear starts at 120 pairs total — structured as 12 pairs per design, per colour. Men's minimum is kept flexible and low.

Brand-ready output

Your logo, insoles, labels, boxes and presentation can all be developed as part of the project — the collection arrives looking like yours.

Built to extend

The collection can be extended next season — new silhouettes and colourways added to the same direction, without starting over.

What Sets Us Apart

We are a design and development partner — not a stock supplier.

Some brands come to us after trying to source footwear from a catalogue and finding it did not work. The shoe was fine — but it did not feel like their brand. That is the problem we solve.

  • Designed around your brief — not around a fixed catalogue of styles
  • Customised to your brand — logo, insoles, labels, hardware, packaging and colour
  • Coordinated as a collection — silhouettes, colours and materials that work together
  • Confirmed in writing — specs, samples and quotes all documented before the next stage
  • Built to be extended — the same direction carries into next season's additions
120 Pairs total first order for women's footwear — structured as 12 pairs per design, per colour
500 Minimum boxes for custom packaging. Extra boxes stored or shipped with your order — your choice.
10–14 Days for women's sample turnaround once the design and specification are approved
4–6 Weeks for bulk production after sample approval, depending on style, materials and quantity

Buyer FAQ

Questions fashion brands ask before starting.

Yes. Share your brand guide, existing collection, price point and references. We design the footwear to sit alongside what you already sell — same customer, same brand language, same price band.

For women's shoes, the usual first order is 120 pairs total, structured as 12 pairs per design, per colour. Men's footwear is kept flexible and low; the exact figure is confirmed in your quote. The 120 pairs can be spread across multiple styles and colourways.
Yes. Samples are paid and are made against the specification agreed in writing. They are revised until you approve them. This is standard across B2B footwear development — there is no free sample stage.
Yes. Once a collection is confirmed and delivered, we can add new silhouettes, colourways or categories next season — same brand language, extended range. Many fashion brands build their footwear line over multiple seasons rather than trying to launch everything at once.
Yes. Custom logo placement, insoles, labels, boxes and presentation can all be developed as part of your project. Custom packaging is available from a 500-box minimum. Extra boxes can be stored in our warehouse or shipped with your order — whichever is more comfortable for you.
